Can't believe the Patriots are getting Haynesworth for a future 5th rounder. If that's all it takes, the Texans should have at least thought about it.. I know, salary cap situation, blah blah blah.
(Mclain) Texans are 1 of 3 teams that are finalists for FA S Danieal Manning, who played the last 5 years with the Bears.
So he can b**** about the 3-4>? Yes, the Pats run a hybrid like the Texans' will but they are used to dealing with idiots like Albert. 29 other teams wanted no part of Albert too.
Word from the Patriots camp is that they needed a Tackle to fill the void. They got their man in Haynesworth. Texans were reportedly in the mix and the deal fell through in the last minute.
Schefter on sportscenter slurping Jets over Houston; says "decision should be made in next 48 hours" In other words, none of these guys know anything, and this baby ain't getting delivered anytime soon.
My friend is a Bears fan and he reminded me that Manning returns kickoffs... That would be huge for us.
Source? I find that hard to believe as it would have likely destroyed our chances at Nnamdi or Joseph. And YES to Manning. Please let that happen.

Unfortunately this is all the same regurgitated crap....I just wanna hear yes or no and get on with my life.
Not really. Apparently the Pats are only paying 5 million for Haynesworth this year. That's certainly workable.
I can't believe we don't have any news yet. What a waste of a day and now it looks like I won't get any work done tomorrow either.
Agreed. Texans need at least 1 corner and 1 safety that are above average at worst. They probably couldn't afford a $5 million DT.
i was harnessing my inner Houston Sports Writer. Esp with the last part of "deal fell through in the last minute"
