Epic tweet is epic. You misused your emphasis though. It should have read Once they realized emphasizing the fact that they realized it along.
Stop posting McClain drivel... it makes me really angry because its painfully obvious that he has no clue what he is doing. When I hear him on the radio, I want to crash into somebody. When I see his fat ass on TV, I want to break the TV. When I read his nonsensical backtracking "tweets"... there are no words to explain the fury. Just colors.
What's so annoying about him is he says things so emphatically that it gives the impression that he has inside information when it's really just his opinion.
This is so true. His tone is so "matter of fact," that it sounds like he literally just heard it said behind closed doors directly from the key source.
The preseason hype's going to be through the roof if we manage to bag Aso. If Danieal Manning jumps on board, as well... DAMN!
Here's the gist of that Michael Lombardi tweet: http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/playerbreakingnews.asp?sport=NFL&id=779&line=207387&spln=1 Nnamdi Asomugha: Report: Texans move into lead for Asomugha Nnamdi Asomugha - DB - OAK - Jul. 28 - 11:22 am et The Texans have "moved into the lead" for free agent Nnamdi Asomugha, according to NFL Network's Michael Lombardi. The Texans must be doing some serious restructuring. Lombardi says that Asomugha's money will be in the $12-$14 million per year range, which is more than the Texans were expected to fork over. Still, this could be a ploy from Asomugha's camp to drive the Jets' offer up. The bidding war is on for the best free agent available. Jul. 28 - 11:22 am et Source: Michael Lombardi on Twitter
Plus, in the yearly game with our (according to the NFL) biggest rival, Oakland, AJ won't get shut down nearly every time.
Quit bagging on McClain. Don't you know he's been in movies and has a HOF vote? I don't know how you guys don't get this, since he mentions it every time he's on the radio...
The funny thing is... if the Texans do get this deal done, I think McClain will be the first to break it. When things are official, the Texans do generally feed their information through him first. Unfortunately, the tradeoff is that for that info... he naively believes every rumor the Texans tell him (usually for strategic reasons) and passes all of it on as fact. Sigh.
