Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so your saying we got a chance. We are about to tell the jets to F off our guy. 12 to 14 million. Good bye okoye, leach, and orlovski.
He's a joke. I wish more people on this site would have listened to me as I dismissed the cap story early on. I should be a Chron writer. McClain just doesn't have an understanding of football. He's a lazy beat writer. From day one I was explaining that the cap is workable and would not prevent the Texans from signing anyone. McClain keeps moaning how it will and even put out that ridiculous "EVERY SINGLE CONTRACT" will have to be restructured line. I hate the Chronicle.
Gentlemen, I just want you all to know it has been a pleasure serving in this thread with you. May God have mercy on us all.
Everyone has to realize it, even a Chron writer. I bet it makes Solomon sick to his stomach that McClain (and to a lesser extent Justice) are the "premier" writers for the Chron.
I don't understand the venom, other then McClain is just a tool - but it's come from LZ and 1560, and Solomon at the chron - something must be going on behind the scenes.
Let us remember that McClain screamed and cried for us to give Bud Adams everything he wanted, and then when the Oilers left town, McClain moved to Tennessee with them. He is the Texans lapdog/mouthpiece in the same way.
It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve alongside you DonnyMost. Regardless of the outcome, I am honored to die beside you today. To Valhalla!
a part of me just thought, maybe McClain purposely down played the signing of Aso all along so that if it did happen he could just praise the texans for pulling off a miracle and how amazing they did to make it work. Then I realize that a scheme like that would actually take some thought, which quickly rules out McClain.

He's more than a tool. He's a pompous tool. He thinks he knows everything about everything relating to the Texans and dismisses people like they are morons. When the other side becomes true he acts like he knew all along. To his credit, at least he's somewhat admitted to being wrong on Aso.
