    STOP GETTING MY HOPES UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking about boycotting this thread. But I know I'll keep coming back and hitting F5, anxious to see the breaking news about the 5th-on-the-depth-chart FA TE that the Texans sign undrafted out of South Central Backwater University.

What about getting Manning and Sensabaugh (if the price is right for both)? Then keep GQ at corner.

I think I'd also be happy with Manning and Rogers or Clements. Then perhaps we can see what veterans get cut and end up with another decent corner for cheap later on so we're not forced to play Kareem.

Well, we already signed a kid named "Bubba", so you're not too far off.

If true... i hope Andre, Foster, Mario, Cush and Demico are all in the room with the agent pitching Nnamdi to come to Houston.

But once that meeting is done, Rick Smith better be making calls to meet up other agents for other CB's and Safeties that are in the mkt.

Or maybe Batman Jones could get him hooked up in his theater? :)

Seriously, I'm not saying I'd be disappointed if we landed him (are you kidding?), just that I really do hope we have a backup plan in case he is using us to get more money from NY or SF. And getting a Joseph/Sensebaugh type tandem is still a HUGE upgrade from what we projectile vomited onto the field last year.

This Paul Greco guy is recommending we pass on Aso and sign JJ and Manning.

It's all we have, so yes, it counts as history. Major props to the FO if they pull this one off though.

i would be all for that but the bengals will probably not let JJ go easily. Texans would have to pay a very high premium.

Yeah I don't believe Joseph will really come at that much of a discount vs Aso personally.
