    "Official" official now, I supposed. Shame to see him go, and that his career was really hindered by his injury problems. Would have loved to see him have an actual 'prime' for an extended period of time.

    Another Rockets era passes.

    Yeah, I was confused by that exchange too. I think someone forgot they weren't logged into their alt.

    Was this at his press conference when he announced his retirement?

    I'm so incredibly sad to see him go; a class act from beginning to end. He added dignity to our team.

    I do hope he'll come watch some games from time to time, like Hakeem does.

    "In next few minutes i will have special thanks for all my friends oversea,special the fans in Houston. I would like to thank you all to give me great support during my 9 years career.9 years ago,I come to Houston,as a young tall skinny player,the entire city the rockets team changed me to a grown man,not only a basketball player,and also gained my first daughter over there,I feel also i am a Houstonian, I will always be with you,thank you!"

    i don't know what to say, my heart just feels so empty....
    i loved yao and now i miss him.... i hope God can give him a pair of magic legs so that he can play one more game in a rockets jersey
    then i can close my eyes in peace......
