They've been there for me ever since Jim Caldwell and the Colts handed them what should've been the Texans' playoff spot in late 2009.

They'll pay for all the money being thrown around after they're Super Bowls and playoff appearances!! They will be broke and have to sell their Super Bowl rings to pay off the gross and gutsy spending now!

Andre needs to get in the mix, too. If we're not getting Asomugha, at least drive up his price for the Jets

If the jets get aso, how do you beat them? You would have to have the league's top running back, the league's top wide receiver, a league leading passer and a pro bowl TE and play a lot of underneath routes with double TE sets. oh and a top 20 defense that won't give up 70 yards in less than 40 secs!

Only positive on waiting for Nnamdi is that every other CB is waiting on him to sign! So its not like we are waiting on a decision and the other top CB's are signing with teams! If he picks the Jets, them lets hope Smith has already laid groundwork with Josephs agent!

If the Jets sign Nnamdi, it will go down as one of the stupidest signings of a great player (right up there with A-Rod with the Rangers) that's ever been done, for multiple reasons. You don't need an All-Pro CB to shutdown #2 receivers, and unlike pairing Ndamakong Suh and Nick Fairley, two stud CBs doesn't make your entire defense dramatically better in every situation. They'll do nothing for you against the run, and will be somewhat neutralized by letting your receivers run them deep every play. The Jets are good, but this is a Hail Mary for a Super Bowl this year, and I don't think it does it for them. It'd be like the Texans breaking the bank for Roddy White, and signing him to a seven year deal.

Stop it everybody. Those kids are good kids. They're about to be coming out here everday, battlin' their tails off in this heat. I have no doubt in my mind, with time, these guys will get better. I believe we can be a damn good team this year. Would we love to have Nnamdi? You darn betchya we would John. He's a darn good kid and a very darn good football player. Every other team would love to have him too. But I gotta worry about the guys we got here, right now, today. I can't worry about that other stuff. I leave that stuff up to Rick. You'll have to ask him. As of right now, we're going with the guys we got. We're going with these guys because we believe in them Mark. ... Is that it? Alright, thanks guys.

Except that the Jets had a mediocre offense and the Texans have **** on defense.

If we had a middle of the road defense and we added a pro bowl receiver next to AJ we would be feared.

Right now? We are the team that players uses to up their value. We are the NFLPU's B*tches.

the longer this goes on the more i think it doesnt matter what the texans offer. i think its becoming more clear that Aso isnt coming here. He's seemingly sitting around and waiting for them, and them alone, to be able to make a halfway decent offer so he can be part of a team that has a great chance at getting to the superbowl

I completely disagree. The Jets defense is built around pressuring the QB with as many bodies as possible. That's a lot easier when you have 2 corners that are so good that most teams avoid throwing their way. I think it's funny that we think signing Nnamdi can turn our last place defense into a possible contender, but the Jets adding him to their already stout defense can't put them over the top. Another stud CB on the Jets makes them very scary. And props to their front office for going after him and taking a shot at a SB. I wish the Texans would do the same.

Run your WR's deep every play. Take the corners out of the game. Turn it into a 9-on-9 game. Play ball-control offense. Then on defense, capitalize on the Mark Sanchez stupid plays that happen every game.

The Texans wouldn't be able to do this, but the Patriots, Steelers, Ravens all will.

The Jets had the 3rd ranked Run D last year.

I don't think your plan will work.

If the Jets get ahead of you, with that defense, you're f***ed.
