Glad Leinart is back, can we at least tell Orlovsky his services will no longer be required. Can't believe McClain said we are taking 4 qbs to training camp makes no sense.

Color me shocked that Leinart is willing to carry a clipboard and hit the clubs.

Love how the Texans keep resigning players when the only main person most people wanted to resign Vonta Leach is still out there.

I'm guessing Nnamdi has given the Jets his price, and now they must go to Sanchez and Revis to dig up the cash somehow, which could take a few days.

I know Andre Johnson is too classy for this but what he needs to do is get McNair/Smith on the phone and tell them they better make a splash this free agency or he's going to demand a trade.

    Good call,
To get nnamdi, jets may have to guarantee base salaries for Sanchez, mangold and ferguson. Could happen pretty painlessly. Jason Cole

Ironic that the league just approved the new salary cap/salary floor that you would think would increase parity, yet the Jets may end up with the two best players at one of the most premium positions in football.

If the Texans cut Amobi, Orlovsky and Slaton, they will save almost $7 million dollars according to salary figures from Rotoworld.com

meh. Not to question AJ's competitive spirit but he's done 6+ years of Texans mediocre football and has never expressed any displeasure. (except for Money)

I really don't think AJ cares if this team does anything in free agency. IMO.

    of course they tried.

    and failed.

    again.

but apprently trying and failing (for ten years) is perfectly okay to some.

Rick and Gary's pecking order: TE's > Offensive backups > pro bowl FB's

Leach's contract is a little more tricky than the others. Leachis really going to try and squeeze out a top $ contract. He can afford to be patient and see how much other teams bid over him. Once the bidding stops, or caps out, then he can make his decision.

My guess is that the bids are still active for him

I would rather the texans go after Johnathan Joseph, his a better investment.
