Being a Redskin fan, this signing was surprising.... The Redskins finally managed to find a WR with less catches then Malcolm Kelly in the last 3 seasons! lol on the bright side Our defense is looking better and better on paper.... Our D-Line right now: Cullen Jenkins (most reports I see show him signing with WSH) - Barry Cofield at DT- and then Adam Carriker at LE (Carriker came on strong late last season) Besides, the Redskins weak D line in a 3-4 defense is money for the opposing teams run game. Then for LBs we have London Fletcher, Orakpo, and new rookie Ryan Kerrigan In the secondary we have DeAngelo Hall - (other CB will be filled with a FA) Safeties are LaRon landry and OH Otagwe Just improve our Oline, and we just may be able to win 9 or 10 games this year.
With Holmes locked up, and Braylon likely on the way out, Randy Moss emerges as option for Jets(per Jason La Canfora)
One reason why we're going with John Beck. Its a low risk move. If he does great (considering he was top priority on Shanahan's draft list back when Beck came out of college) then great, we have a upside of a season, and hope to find some key cornerstone pieces for our team next year in the draft/FA... or if he fails, and we do end up with a top 1-5 seed, look for us to trade up to get Luck. Win/Win
Reggie Bush to Falcons or Rams, insisting on 15 touches per game (not sure if that is combined carries/receptions or just carries).
Reggie Bush should go to the Falcons and convert to slot receiver, then the Eric Metcalf comparisons will be even more apt.
Some reports are saying the 49ers are going to target Nnamdi. I don't think he'll go unless it is strictly about the money.
i'm just saying with beck as the qb, the chances of getting 8-9 wins, especially in that division, are 0%. and i sure hope y'all attempt to trad up for luck if possible. seems like you have neglected the qb position for 20 years now.
He should go to Seattle with Leinart. USC 2.0 All the hookers you can fit into a hottub and blow you can cram in your nosehole for everyone.
Actually I think it is a very distinct possibility. He loves the Bay Area but the Raiders won't pay him, so San Fran would be an option.
Tony Softli Several sources say St. Louis Rams are extremely interested and moving quickly on two unrestricted FA in Plaxico Burress and Reggie Bush. My feelings are they are high on the Rams list, for Bush there is a strong chance the New Orleans will figure out a way to keep a play maker that is 40% of there production (offense/special teams) if so the Rams will lean towards Darren Sproales. Plaxico is a good fit despite history of incarceration, suspension on two prior culbs , but Red zone production along with size, length and ability to catch outside his frame makes him extremely attractive, but Sidney Rice tops my list of receivers, then Braylon Edwards. The best thing for Rams Fans is they are extremely active in their pursuit to build a champion foundation. He wants about 15 touches per game. 26 Jul via TweetDeck
Saints would be foolish to let Bush go. Even though he's not the running back everyone thought he would be, he's still a big part of their offense and their win/loss record shows that when he's out of the lineup. Injuries always a concern as well.
So did Weddle use the Jags as a way to get San Diego to pony up?? It's nice as a Texans fan to not be on the receiving end of one of those for once......
