Where is your favorite place to hang out and play pool in Houston? Taking everything into consideration (atmosphere, quality of service, pricing (food, tables), cleanliness, etc.), what makes it your favorite place?

I used to play at slicks years ago. Before $12/hr tables

Nowadays, the only time I play pool is if a bar has a coin operated BS table.

Sorry I can't really help, but none of my peeps come out and care to go to a pool hall.

Use to play at UH...the prices were nice. But after graduating the game room kind of loses it's appeal!

If I do play, it's usually at Fox and Hound. Never super crowded. They got good food and a decent selection of beer. Tables are expensive but that's ok. Got plenty of tvs to watch whatever sports games are on.

If you dont mind the spanish atmosphere Gol Bar hands down is the best spanish sports bar IMO, that place has people all the time but they have alot of pool tables so thats not a problem, the Dj has it goin all the time (spanish music of course) and if your in to hot spanish chicks they got a few, I go there every thursdays since its free pool night and i drink bottled water all night so my tab is not that high.

Slick willies on montrose is the spot for me.
Free pool mondays and 5 buck all you can play Wednesday and sundays. Pretty good atmosphere. I go there all the time.

    I've always liked Fast Eddie's.

I live on the South side of H-town and Both the Slick Willies on 45 south are gang violence waiting to happen.

I've seen two shootings at the same Slick Willies on Monroe. I'll stick with Fast Eddie's on FUQUA.

Plus, Fast Eddie's usually has a flat rate to play pool. 2-5 dollars most days, in hopes that you buy the bar.
Free pool on Wednesdays, bout to go up there in a few.

Slick's on Jones is a pretty good place to play.

It's free to paying customers on Mondays. Just buy a drink and you're good for the night.
