I thought people were saying Butler was long gone.

Texans have agreed with their WR Jacoby Jones.

Butler's and Jones's contracts were both very reasonable. I'm hoping we sign Leach for around $3-4 million a year, unless we need this money for Aso.

    Quinton Mikell signs with Rams.

I was hoping he'd be our backup plan if we couldn't land Weddle.

As I've said for months, Texans will make an offer to Nnamdi Asomugha, but I'll be shocked if they get him. They don't have cap room.

How can a team make an offer if they don't have the cap room?

He also expected for weeks that butler was as good as gone. Im just starting to feel sorry for the guy. Either the Texans are playing him, or he's reporting based off of wishful thinking in his fantasy league

Wow, McClain is an idiot. We can restructure, etc to make cap room. Cap room will not prohibit us from a verbal agreement, as we have like a week and a half to get under the cap. Someone needs to tell him it's passed his bed time.

Now lets dump Walter and get Sims-Walker :) If Nnamdi signs here can you imagine the buzz at Reliant opening day against the Colts. Wow. If anyone gets word when single game ticks go on sale please post.

Though unconfirmed it looks as though Rashad Butler may have been a recipient of one of the two new salary cap exceptions.

    As per Lance Zierlein...

Now, I must go to sleep.

I'm hoping to wake up to some good Texans news. Not expecting to, though.

    Titans signed Matt Hasselbeck.

Should be fun concussing him into retirement in the AFC South.

Not surprising. Nnamd is like the headliner at a concert. His deal should cap off this crazy week.
