don't use words like that and then follow it with a quote...i assumed you had real news. It's not bye-bye at all.. just more random spec
So lets say the Jets get Aso, what if the Texans sign Kelly Gregg, Eric Weddle, Plax and Marshall...would that be a productive offseason?

Just hope Nnamdi doesn't sign with the Jets. The last thing I want to hear on TV is Rex Ryan talking out of his butt again like last year. annoying.
It was a joke to the Texans signing Lewis. (You know, like in the garm, when the Rockets sign some scrub and people joke and say "Bye bye Scola" or "Bye bye Martin".) Calm down. That Nnamdi news was/is seperate from the first half of that post(talking about Lewis).
That report isn't really much more than we've already heard. There's a reason the Jets have been speculated as landing spot for Nhamdi, so of course they "reached out" to him. He "might" consider taking less money to be with a contender, and he "might" want to go to NY for acting; Nothing I haven't been hearing on ESPN and NFLN all day.
We are all on edge aren't we? Between the trade deadline and free agency...this might be the most fun I'll have all year.
The Jets' cap situation is too bad with all the guys they need to resign, much less adding new top-dollar free agents. Namdi to NYJ is just a ESPN wet dream. It has as much chance of happening as Namdi to the Cowboys, unless he wants to play for right around the vet minimum and they are willing to not resign Santonio Holmes and a couple of other key free agents. There are only so many contracts you can restructure, and so much dead weight you can cut.
Why is New York such a draw for someone who has designs on an acting career? Is he some sort of classically trained stage actor or something? If he comes to Houston, I'm sure Mac get get Sidekicks 2 greenlit for him.
I don't mind if we don't nab Namdi, but if we don't try then our front office is full of ****. We have a top notch offense, are in a faltering division and our biggest need aligns perfectly with the best FA on the market. There is no excuse and if it were another team in the same situation we would all be blasting their front office for not at least going after the guy. If you get dissed you get dissed. But you try.
Buck's GM Mark Dominik on Aso: in other words, "HELL NO" quote from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat writer Stephen Holder. http://twitter.com/#!/HolderStephen
I really don't see any of these other teams making a big push for him...jets have enough of their own free agents to deal with and no way any team spends a quarter of their payroll on CBs. I'm sure they'd like to convince him to go there for less, but it seems like an unlikely deal. Now the Bucs seem like they're out too. The way it's going, the Texans might be the last team standing.
Don't count out the Ravens though. It's between the Texans and Ravens, IMO. Think Aso would come here, considering one of his good friends is here (AJ) and his position is our biggest weakness. Plus, we'd have the weakest division, thus a better chance at winning it.
no worries, i was calm just messed with my head when i saw it and thought "**** someone got him and it's over". And then i read it and it wasn't over maybe it's because my emotional state for the next few weeks hinges on this FA period that's so short
