He would be sick with the Jets. But unfortunately, their offense still has question marks. The Texans on the other hand will still have their brilliant offense, and Nnamdi could make them a real threat on defense. EDIT- I really thought he was gonna go to Baltimore with the way they've been cutting players left and right. Oh well. I just can't imagine the Texans front office pushing for Nnamdi. I love hearing the Texans made his list, but I feel like I'm just waiting to be dissappointed...again.
I was just listening to the nfl network on Sirius and Schefter said, "I believe the Texans will offer the most money and years to Aso, it just depends on if he wants to play there."
that's the big kicker. Usually, the money grab is the obvious thing, but he does seem like a well rounded dude and playing in that stink hole of the raiders all these years has to make him want to win. The Jets are seemingly offering a better chance, initially at least. That defense would be crazy
Easy decision imo: go to NYJ Anyhow, refering to what jty mentioned above: @davidcanter on @sportstalk790, E Weddle in talks w/ several teams.Texans "there is interest"
Wholly Crap! Weddle and Nnamdi? I don't care about understanding the cap anymore. Just get them in Houston
Mark Sanchez says he is willing to restructure his contract for free agency... Crap @nyjets Sanchez on re-working contract so Jets can sign FAs: "Whatever we need to do to win, it's on. Revis, me, whoever, doesn't matter.
if they're seeing what i saw, it was reported about an hour ago on TV...and Schefter mentioned there are lots of teams in the mix, but that he thought it would come down to the texans and jets. nothing more substantive that i've seen.
