Glover Quinn is locked in at safety. Told that to Lance Z apparently.

Yeah, must be interviewing players who are showing up to the team facility today or something?

Quin is on with Matt Thomas right now and did confirm he's prepping himself to play SAFETY this year. Awesomegha, come on down!

Quin playing at safety was pretty-well assumed, I believe. We still have to address the other safety position. Does anybody know the status of Antwan Molden? How much does he stand to make this year, and is he somebody that we can cut to free up some cap space?

Rotoworld has him at 550k this year. Not much in savings but also not worth keeping around to sit on the injured list.

Earl Mitchell told Nick Scurfield in an interview that he met with Jay Ratliff this off-season, and discussed what it took to play NT in Wade's system. I like the pro-activeness. Hopefully it pays off on the field.

You can't cut Molden. He is a key piece to this season. He battle-fought his way to 6 tackles and 0 passes defended in the last 2 seasons.

He's primed for a breakout year this year.

I don't think there's much of a correlation at all between undrafted free agent signings and the fate of a starter on the actual team. With undrafted guys, teams basically just bring in the best available bodies they can regardless of position. Leach may be gone, but I don't think that's an indicator.

I know it sounds bad on the surface, but you can't discount the fact that he also had 2 assists.

    Bring on the old cowboys?

19 minutes ago - by Brandon Williams - Newman could be CB target for Texans
The Texans will keep an eye on what the Cowboys do with CB Terence Newman, who would count $10 million against Dallas' cap this season. Newman may not survive the Cowboys salary cap purge, which would make him an affordable fit for the Texans if the former Pro Bowler hits the open market. Texans RapidReports
