Here's the full text. Didn't have it when I made the most.

Also, I know people keep harping on our cap, but no cuts have been made and we have significant money tied up to three guys Antonio, Orlovsky and Andre Davis who should either be cut or restructured. Not to mention there are ways to be creative with a contract structure where you don't take the hit all in one year. I don't know how good our "cap guru" is, but most teams have a cap guru who designs the contract to work as best as possible. It's how the Redskins and the Ravens have consistently been able to go out and get big dollar contracts done and still have cap room all the time.

the writing seems to be on the wall for Vonta. Too bad but the texans don't utilize him enough to pay him the most in the nfl. But good for him for getting a big pay day.

I like the idea of having casey playing some FB but more as a pass catching wycheck type, not big on lead blocking.

Don't be so sure. Depends on what he gets offered out there. Remember the Texans can use a $3.5 million exception to retain veteran players.

Just need to see FA play out. The cap is really low this year but it will grow substantially next year and the years after as the tv revenue gets accounted for. If Rick Smith is worth his salt he will be able to work contracts to hit more next year and make some magic happen.

Here's a list of the UDFAs the Texans have agreed with so far:

    Texans
    Bubba Bartlett (TE/FB, Carroll College)
    Jeff Maehl (WR, Oregon)
    Zac Pauga (FB, Colorado State)
    Pete Hendrickson (OT, Tulane)
    Lestar Jean (WR, Florida Atlantic)
    Terrance Tolliver (WR, LSU) ???
Bryan Braman (LB, West Texas A&M)

    http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2011-nfl-undrafted-free-agents

The Braman signing is strange. I think he was suspended last season for off the field issues.

With LanceZ saying the Texans signed 18 last night, there's still 11 players that we don't know about yet.

Hmmm, so rumors from the Texans camp is that we are going to try to get as many good players as we can with the space that we have and rumors from the Cowboys camp is that they will be creative to go after the stud that could help us a lot? LOL. I'm just saying, sometimes you gotta put your balls on the table.

Earlier I expressed disappointment at the idea of Carlos Rogers/Sensabaugh and I stand by that. However, if the Texans make the moves they need to get room and go get those two plus a guy like a Kelly Gregg and then a legit number 2 WR (Say they trade for Steve Smith or something) I'll be thrilled and won't rip them at all.

Mortenson says we can throw big money at Namdi but honestly I would be happy with Weedle and Turner/Cromartie/Joseph combo(one of these CB's).

So many rumors, it does make this interesting though.

I think our biggest threat for Namdi is Baltimore.
