Facts are simple and facts are straight Facts are lazy and facts are late Facts all come with points of view Facts don't do what I want them to Facts just twist the truth around Facts are living turned inside out
There is not 10 point guards in the NBA that are better than Lowry. And there may not be 7 point guards better than him.
so although not admitting you were wrong, you are admitting you were wrong. Just in the most obnoxious way as usual.
Anyone care to a friendly tip jar wager next year on our man Kyle? I will put in $25 if Lowry's combined reb's asst's and point's equal less than 29.( my guestimated stat line is 17.5, 7.5, and 4) Anybody in?
How can someone be a career backup and then, in that same career, suddenly become a starter? If you're going to make a prediction then you should stand behind it regardless of the outcome.
I'm just going to put this out there: if you are going to argue, at least have the decency to agree on agree on certain things like terminology. How can anyone argue here if the end result is always "well, that's my view and that's that." We'd still be living in caves if we subscribed to such a format of argument.
I always liked his game and to be honest, it was hard for me to want him as the starter over AB, but it did cross my mind. He's a great defender, a fn bully when he takes it to the rack, and the best thing of all about him is that he worked on his 3pt shot and is now relatively dangerous from anywhere on the court. I really hope he keeps it up! I think he will be the PG this upcoming season if there is a season since all we did was draft some bigs. Not flashy, but effective! That's what I love about his game!
You know exactly what you meant when you were calling Lowry a career backup. Disgusting that you won't own up to it.
I said he was a career backup and he played well last year. The biggest thing with him was people expected his bench numbers to increase with the minutes like the ft shooting and stuff and it didn't. I do like the way he decided to take late shot clock shots since he was the only guy on the team who could take and make those at a god rate. I hope he comes back in shape unlike last year and continues his progress.
I never thought he would be this good, but I am pleasantly surprised and hope that he can further improve his game. There aren't many things that hold him back, but if there's one it's his mid range game
Can someone on the Insider please post Palmer's Top 5 PGs in the league? http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/stor...slug_=chris-paul-leads-top-5-nba-point-guards
There was no prediction made, it was an argument about whom should start. At that point Brooks was the more proven player, the injury opened the door for Kyle just as the trade of Rafer did for Brooks. And Kyle took advantage of it, good for him and the Rockets. Makes me happy as a fan, and that is all that matters. DD
