I think he has plenty of potential to put up league average or better numbers at 3rd. There is a pretty big difference between what you expect from the two corners. Defensively, I agree. Just a pipedream.

It looks to me like Ed Wade was a victim of adverse selection during the Happ and Wallace trades. He should have asked, "why do they want to dump these guys on me?" I remember everyone saying "Wallace is rated higher than Gose! This is a good trade!" Welp, there was a reason the Jays were so willing to trade for a lower-rated prospect.
Very possible... my biggest issue was age... I wanted us to get younger prospects, even if more raw and unknown.
