I'm in favor of bulldozing the drag. Some sections smell like piss and the sidewalks are so narrow. You can't go a day without someone asking you for spare change. And if that isn't bad, some of the bums make rude comments if you don't acknowledge them. If the cops weren't too busy eating donuts and jacking off, they'd clear all the bums out. I thought there was a new city ordinance against bums camping out. I walk on the UT side now cause I don't want to deal with anything. Once I was using the ATM and some bum walked like a foot behind me....WTF..give me some damn privacy. For those unfortunate people who really are homeless, I think they'd be better off going to a shelter instead of asking for spare change on the street.
When I first went away to college at UT with who I thought was my best friend at the time, I thought things were going to be great. I quickly found out that, after a few weeks, we were not compatible at all as far as living together. He had some annoying habits that got on my nerves moreso than I'm sure I got on his nerves. He would walk around the apartment whistling at every ****ing moment of the day irregardless of what I was doing. That will make you hate a person alone. His girlfriend supposedly lived on campus in a dorm. However, you would never know as she was always at our place. Here I am paying half the rent on this place and there are three people living here with one of them not on the lease. Yes, it is okay to have your girlfriend over some but all the time and she lives there so why would the other roommate want to live there? She ate our food, had her own set of nuissances, and did whatever she wanted. Our study schedules were completely incompatible as well. I would be studying and he would be throwing a party. But, when he studied, I respected that and gave him silence. I had to put up with him, his girlfriend, and his hosting parties while I studied . There were many other things that I won't mention. So, after that first semester, I was out of there. I tried talking to my roommate but he was pretending he was in a marriage and didn't even want to discuss any of the problems which led to us fighting almost constantly. So, I left and realized he wasn't really my best friend at all. The only good times I seemed to have was when he was away. I figured out then and there I would never room with anyone ever again. So, I amused myself at watching other friends be roommates who never appeared to get along and had a lot of infighting. Surf
uh, is it too late to add another complaint to my list? I just went in my bathroom to take a piss and find my suitemate's used condom floating around in the toilet. On the positive side, based on how far the guy had the condom unrolled, my self confidence just got a boost! This guy has to be breaking some sort of smallest dick world record.
I'll have to ask you to kindly not tell us about where you encounter the horror of somebody's used condom.
So today had me wondering. Are some people just born without natural consideration for others? I'm sleeping. I got to bed around 4 this morning, and had a 930 class and an 1130 class. I'm beat. I hit the sack after my class, around 2. This douchebag comes in at 330, turns on all the lights. Turns on the AC, which blows directly on me even though its freezing outside, and sits down to watch TV and eat his lunch. The channel is BET, the volume is loud. After finishing his meal, he proceeds to put his trash in my trash can yet again. What the ****? I hate him. He is making me a racist. Seriously.
Have you had a screaming match with him yet? If not...do it. If you have and he still is doing this stuff, then I guess some people never learn until they are kissing the floor. I can remember when I was in the dorm. I worked late hours so I had a wierd schedule. I would hate it when my roommate would disrupt my sleep by going about his day. But in a dorm you have to expect some of that. The important thing is to strike a balance which considers both parties. I will say that what he did today by turning the TV on loud was a bit over the top.
dude, you have to tell him how you feel. communication is the key between roommates. then just get rid of your trash can and use his. why do you even need two trash cans in one dorm room?
I don't think I can communicate with this guy. I think ill just put mine behind my desk where he can't get to it. Ahhh. Next year... apartment...
My first roommate would leave cups full of his spit from chewing tobacco everywhere. Then one night, his girlfriend and him had a fight, and she threw them all over the place. Since my bed was the only one not covered in moldy chew residue, they slept there, had sex, and her face makeup got all over my sheets. He's why I hate white people now.
Man, I had FANTASTIC roomates all through college. Some of my best friends. Never had any problems, we all respected each other, made Beer and Wine together and partied for all 5-7 years we were in school. If something bothered us, we just talked about it. All this stuff is unbelievable. I loved my time in college, it was the best time of my life. DaDakota
i think thats the first story i've read that is worse than mine. congrats... err should i say my condolensces.
Could be worse. My best friend and I were drinking and watching a movie (Clear and Present Danger). When I went to the can he started using one of my empties as his spitter, and then set it down right next to the beer I was nursing. Then I grab the wrong one and take a big pull. Grossest thing that has ever happened to me.
HOLY COW THAT HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST DISGUSTING THING I HAVE EVER READ!!! WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO TELL US THAT!!! UGGGHHHH!!! {Better you than me}
