    Yeah this is great news, hopefully more of our players will get some actual game action during the lockout. Even if the game plays different overseas, game time is game time, and is much better for getting you game-ready than drills/scrimmages.

    People always think things are weird to them because it's not the same as what they have.

    Start to be open and accept more things, man. Things don't need to be the same as USA to be good.

    Wouldn't it be cool if Yao hooked up a bunch of Rockets players with a roster spot so they could have some chemistry coming into the season?

    25/15 in China last season; 27/11 in D-league a season ago. Just consider it D-league with 50 times the income.

    His odds of breaking Wilt's 10k mark increase in a country with 4x the population. Just hope he makes sure to bring the Viagra with him from the US, as I wouldn't trust Chinese pharmaceuticals.

    Yao's team has one of the biggest budgets in the Chinese Basketball Association at around $3 million US dollars. That's a lot of money for Yao.

    You totally wrong. Yes Yao is a very rich guy as an individual. But most of the CBA teams are actually not owned by an individual, rather they are owned by big companies (either private companies or state owned companies). These companies have way more much money than Yao as an individual. Do you know that Yao's team's head coach (an American) just jumped to another team in the new season, because Yao could only pay him around $200K, while the his new team offered him around $1M.

    I'm not surprised that Scola would want to play overseas, given that he always wants to play, and he's been overseas already. I am surprised that he said he can't afford to not play. I wouldn't have marked him as a big-spender.
