Maybe he will remind McHale of that idiot potman, Robert Parish? :p

The rockets won around 60% of the games he played with or without yao.

Yeah, he helped our team do well in the regular season...too bad he couldn't replicate that in the post season. Why do you think that was? Our team didn't have good role players around him? Did the roleplayers change in the post season? I think it was that fact that we consistently played a good team and Tmac couldn't keep his play consistent throughout the series...like he never could. That's why it was so frustrating watching him play...he could be so great sometimes...then other times it looked like he just coasted and didn't feel like playing.

Not for free, not even if he paid the Rockets a mil or two. Never.

No. We finally got rid of him and his drama, lets not bring it back. We don't have a spot in the rotation for him, anyways.

Plus, I doubt McGrady wouldn't even want to come back here. He needs to sign with a contender if he ever wants to make it out of the first round in his career.

TMac for vet min?! That's kinda a steal. I don't know how you could pass on it if he really wants to come to Houston.

I think he can get more than the vet minimum, probably on a good team that can put him back on the bench when he doesn't play well.

So, I don't know if we could get him at that price, but I'd definitely take him. When we put him in, if he ain't cutting it, we yank him. If he's a cancer, we cut him. He has way more ability than the vet min is worth.

I'd rather have McGrady than TWill.

To be honest yes. I think he could do great at the 3 and for the vet min if he were to act a fool we could cut him loose without hesitation.

Chase is not a starting 3 in the NBA.

Emotions aside, I'd welcome back a somewhat healthy Tmac. It's true he left Houston on bad terms, but part of that was Morey's fault too. Mcrady's ability to distribute at 6'8 is better than anybody we currently have.

Too much water has flowed under that bridge. It will never happen.

I wouldn't go that far. Mcgrady would be a role player on the Rockets at best. No way is he better than KMart, Scola, Lowry

Nope - the poll explains it best.. let's avoid the McDrama.

I guess you'd better restart that highly inaccurate timepiece you're using.

Would be good for team development imo, but not going to happen...too many burnt bridges.

Yet everyone wanted Yao back.....? The guy didn't win us 60% of his regular season games, and I don't remember him taking us to any championships, or even to the finals, or even to the conference finals. McGrady in his two best years with the Rockets > Any of Yao's two years.

I would say these are pretty damn good numbers. How exactly did he not replicate in the playoffs?
