I'd dispute that number, just parsing through that list of yours, there seem to be a fair amount of Christian, unknown or anarchistic terrorism going on. Certainly, Islamic terrorism is high, but that's partially skewed by the fact that there are two raging wars going on in Islamic countries, and the fact that a third, Pakistan, is near being a failed state because of it. It's also skewed by the fact that what is defined as terrorism is somewhat sketchy. I don't think these people have any grasp of the irony of their situation, the kind of people who do these kind of acts often only have a very short-term view. There's also neo-Nazis in Israel...composed of Israeli citizens born in the Soviet Union. smh. The Nazis were probably busy trying to kill their ancestors...anything to fuel irrational hate, I suppose. I sincerely hope that these misguided individuals get over their hatred.

Interesting statistics, 50 % of all arrests for murders and robberies, kind of shocking. But much less DUI and liquor law violations (like 11 %). But these are arrests, not convictions. So, a certain racial bias of the arresting officers may or may not have played into the percentages.

Does it make a difference if it is 75 or 99 %? The point is that it is 1) normal that the media, like everyone else, was asking the question who could have been behind this 2) normal that the media looks at the most probable scenarios first. It's just important that the media should label speculation as speculation, and not sell it as fact.

It's pretty hard to believe that a single shooter took out 84 people. Are there more details? Was it just 1 guy or were there more? What kind of gun did he use?
I read some reports today that said the police is looking for a second person. But I haven't seen further confirmation.
Pistol and shtogun, dressed up as a police so that fooled a lot of people I hope shooters in the future don't take notes....
