If everything breaks right for the T-Wolves, they might have a good team down the line. Since it won't, they won't. I don't expect Beasley or Randolph to finish next season (if there is one) with them. Neither guy is worth a $3 bill. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Beasley is gone before the season starts. Kevin Love is the only player on their roster we know is better than average. The rest are scrubs or unproven.

After Love (who I think is overrated), Wesley Johnson, Derrick Williams and Rubio are all question marks. They will do well if 2 of those 3 turn out to be above average. They need at least one of them to develop into a superstar.

I just don't see the T-Wolves future being all that rosy.

Except the team actually won more games after Morey traded the players Adelman liked and kept playing. Saying the team is a 30 win team without him has no basis whatsoever and is just something you made up.

Relax, we're keeping his offense, which was mostly responsible for Adelman's successes here anyway. Adelman the coach, tactician and substition guy can easily be replaced by Mchale and the rest of his staff.

    No. Just....... no.

Love's amazing, and Randolph really surprised me and might actually belong in the league. Everyone else, like Johnson or Beasley....I'm not that big a fan of. Including Rubio. ( Williams I don't know enough about, really.)

Adelman could turn Derrick Williams into Chris Webber-lite.

Legacy? Lets not get carried away... he has been fired or forced out of every job he has had. He has never won a championship either. He is a good coach, that has been around a long time.... I am sure Rick needs money, and besides, I am sure he will be able to hire his family members assuming he gets the job.

Adelman if they want to win. He can make the Twolves into something. Do it Minnesota. You need him as a franchise at this moment.

Ask jason kidd, chauncy billips, deron williams if rubio is a question mark, he lead the scrub spanish team "respectively" to a near gold medal win over a stacked us team led by kobe bryant, d howard, carmelo, lebron, are u kidding me!!!!!! The kid was 17 when he did it and spain was a better team when he was on the floor! Williams is not a question! He is a stud! The only problem for the wolves if they hire aldeman is going to be the bench, but give aldeman two years he will turn that team around..book it!

Don't you know that hard work beats talent if talent does not work hard.

Can we let go of those old comments please? What did you expect them to say about the media darling with a mike stuck in their face? Rubio's last 2 years in Euroleague were pathetic and (fortunately) the media hype for him has died down a bit.

Don't forget how V-Span "owned" CP3 in the World Games a while back. What happened to him when he joined the NBA?

By the way, calling that 2008 Spanish Olympic squad "scrub" is dumb. If that's the way you remember it, you memories of Rubio are skewered too.

He He. Yeah it was kinda weird wasnt it. You made solid points that I cant argue, but i wasnt ALL wrong.

Most of it is from me just venting about how he cost us the playoffs last season. I believe deep down we could have made the playoffs last season if he wasnt so stubborn about making changes on things like lineup - Brooks, Hill, Miller played way too much and it hurt the team. He needed to work on getting more shots inside the paint - it seemed like 90% of shot attempts were from outside the paint - long jump shots and 3s. Of course then the elephant in the living room - defence - we were never going to be elite without a pretense down low bit we still could have done better.

These arent observations made in hindsight now that its all over. These faults were damn obvious as the season was going along and they were stated in posts over and over how Aldeman and his ways were costing us the playoffs - even without a true 5 and injuries.

Have you guys been waiting for Adelman to get a job to pounce on Morey and the Rockets? Jeez. I don't see how Adelman's job status changes the decisions that have already been made by the organization. We didn't make a bigger or smaller mistake because he's employed all of a sudden.

Btw, I call false on this report. I don't believe that he's interested in that team, nor do I believe that Khan will hire a competent coach.

All this for a first round sweep? The Grizzlies were a much stronger team and deserved to make the playoffs. Adelman did all he could and overachieved for a couple of seasons. Morey was right to let him go because of how overqualified he was for a team that needs to tank. Don't understand how people are posting bitter quips concerning this... the team was going nowhere.
