A Dallas sports radio station, 105.3 The Fan, was saying they heard from an unnamed Dallas player that the entire Dallas team was prepared to vote yes for the CBA. Sounds fishy. Not sure I believe it. But, now all the talk is how the players are pissed about how this went down. I personally don't understand how this happens. Weren't both sides in the meetings? Now, the players are balking? This is really getting old. A part of me wants them to screw this up and delay the season...so the fans can unleash their fury on all of them.
I thought McNair dropped 700 million dollars of his own money to bring the Texans to Houston. When have ever employees made more than employeers?
Because many people seem to be ignorant with the issue like how the owners were the ones that started this whole damn lockout in the first place. Players are the faces of the league, so much [undeserved] blame gravitates towards them. It boggles the mind.
I have a feeling that say this lasts 2-3 mores weeks, they will have to kill regular season games to have at least 1 pre season game to get teams ready. I just don't think there is a way it will end up with keeping all the regular season games any missing most of the preseason.
I'm a Cowboys fan but I look forward to watching the Cowboys suck ass under their new coach and new defensive coordinator because they won't be ready at all after pre-season with no off-season prep. There is just no freaking way. It's gonna be a laugh riot. Go ahead! Start this crapfest up! LOL @ COWBOYS DEFENSE!
While that is true, many offenses wil be new as well and not had enough time for them to understand their playbook and iron out wrinkles. That would be an interesting over/under on number of games in which virtually no one scores versus games that are super high scoring.
How much money do the owners of apple see other than their shares appreciate. Pro sports are legalized monopolies. The top .001% of any profession make ridiculous salaries.
The biggest item of change I'm wondering about in looking at in that is the limitation of practices. Would be nice to what the current restrictions are, but I wonder if by limiting the number of padded practices as much as they are if gameplay will be effected.
yep only 14 trainings with pads during the whole season? not even one per week? how they are going to learn how to tackle, and block, and you cant really practices in-game situations without pads. But I agree that they should remove the 2 practices times per day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). to reduce wear and tears on the palyers body.
