If it ends up with his state being better off, his sacrifice will be worth it.

I’m shocked, SHOCKED I TELL YOU! That a right-wing think tank run by CEOs would skew data in their favor.

Not only that, even if they weren't mixing up the survey, the whole concept of taking the net and saying "half the net" is just silly.

What if the natioanl net jobs created is 0, and Wisconsin has a net gain of 1 job. sDO they run a press release saying Governor Walker is responsible for nonreal number % of jobs?

Or, probably more appropriate, let's say Wisconsin has a net gain of 2 jobs, Michigan net loss of 2 jobs, Minnesota net gain of 1 job, all other states are at zero, for a net gain of 1 . Does Minnesota run a press release saying they created 100% of all net jobs? Does Wisconsin then run one saying they created 200% of the net?

It's because people who had jobs that Walker cut had to go out and get jobs at McDonalds and Burger King.

I am not a huge fan of recall elections. I saw them firsthand in California and with hindsight I don't think they were necessary or that great an idea. I don't think a republic should be run according to poll numbers. The people elect representatives who should then use their own judgment, intelligence, and resources in governing. Recall elections make them too beholden to the moment to moment whims of the electorate instead of just doing what they think is right and then defending their efforts come election time.

I also thought that because there is a well known maxim that elections have consequences, and that here the elections were being undone, it would be funny to present my thoughts in that manner.

Don't worry, Texas probably created 168% of all net jobs on virtue of sheer size....PERRY FOREVER...unfortunately, New Jersey created -76% of all net jobs...CHRISTIE FOR WET NURSE

I'm inclined to agree. People are elected to govern and if they are in a state of permanent election it pretty much undermines the idea of republican democracy. I don't agree with Walker's policies at all but the time to address that would be the next legislative and gubernatorial election. I think that recall should be limited to malfeasance and not to how they voted.

Agreed. What's the point of having elections if a majority can just remove any politician that votes against them? You might as well just have the whole constituency vote on every piece of legislation and pass anything that gets a majority.

I agree, but I wouldn't mind removing politicans if their approval is way low, like under 20%.
