Put all pill bottles inside of a ziploc bag, make sure the bottle prescriptions match exactly to you. When going through security, lay the bag out into the bins like your other toiletries. TSA shouldn't have a problem with it as long as the meds are prescribed for you and you show your ID if they ask. That's what my girlfriend does and she has no problems traveling with her medicines.
I'm on a pump and have never had a problem going through TSA. I always pack my insulin and pump supplies in my carry-on. Generally they ask to wipe down my pump then send me on my merry way. Its been awhile since I've travelled with syringes but again, TSA deals with diabetics all the time and I personally never had a problem brining needles through. Hope that helps.
I bring my allergy shot medication on my carry on. I have the doctor's papers with it and its never been a problem.
I bring testosterone and needles with me every time I travel. Don't check it, just put it in it's own bag, make sure the liquids are less than 3 ounces and have a copy of your prescription if they ask, but they won't ask. It's really no problem at all.
Just put it where Usain Bolt puts his champagne. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zzSpPaCIG0g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Not as serious, but I travel with prescribed motion sickness pills. I just show them and tell him it's for motion sickness and they don't even act like they care nor ask to see the prescription. The pill looks like a bullet, too. They're just like "ok who cares dude, just go" faces.
