I play 10 minute quarters and rebounding is really bad. For every 1 rebound I get, they get 10. I think Yao's rpg is something like 3-4.
you can set the quarter length for simulated games too I usually play 6 minute quarters while simulated games have 8 minute quarters. The top scorers have around 16-22ppg so it's not that hard to lead the league in scoring and it's not that easy too
Download sliders from people that go to operationsports.com They have perfected sliders, or at least have gotten close. Most sliders there have a recommended 8-10 minute quarters.

I just started an Association Mode as the Houston Rockets, and now my roster is like this after many many trades, (and much more trade attempts ) Rondo Fernandez Batum Aldridge Yao Perkins Matthews Henderson Cunningham Maynor Is that better than the original Rockets roster, or worse? My lineup is extremely similar to the Dallas lineup that just won the 'ship. All-Star PG, weaker wings who can shoot the lights out from 3 but not much else, and 2 Elite Big Men. Now I just have to get a Shawn Marion and I should be good. And oh I don't have any more draft picks for next year as I traded them to get Rondo.

I hope they enhance the ability to use legends in franchise. I want to be able to plant a rookie Hakeem on the Rockets in 2011 and play.
Better than original squad, got good defense, Rondo beastin as PG, Fernandez and Batum bein able to shoot the 3 and run transition. Aldridge and Yao=deadly on both ends. Pick&Rolls with Rondo/Aldridge, uh weee. Bench lookin pretty solid too, good mixture between scoring and D.
I play 12 minute qtrs but I also set simulated quarter length to 3 mins. MP practically leads the league in everything and I'm only a ~55 rating.

Would be crazy, waitin for this for years.
I don't know. It all depends. I play 10-minute quarters armed to the teeth with 3 point shooters and crap defense. I average something in the 120-130s PPG while giving up ~105 PPG. Is it realistic? Definitely not. I think for a more realistic score I'd go with 6-8 minutes. Probably closer to 6. And I play the HOF difficulty (I think that's the highest one). Honestly though, I've stopped caring about the realistic aspects after I can so easily assemble a 72-10 team while other teams self destruct with stupid trades.
Thanks for your feedback. I tried to get Dwyane Wade with anything and everything on the Rockets, but the Heat just would not accept ANYTHING I threw at them. My best offer was Brooks + Lowry + Martin + Patterson, and they still wouldn't accept all that for Wade + vet min fillers. gagh.
