Haven't tried that one. Looks like iFunia is currently $13.99. I think it was $4.99 on sale when I got it (down from $34.99). I have files from my video camera (.MPT format), that iMovie accepts, but nothing else on the MAC does. Works great for converting the MPT files to whatever I need.

Downloaded it. I tried it like 3 months ago with the dev version but that one was buggy. Def like some of the new features.

It's taking me a while to get used to the new scrolling feature.. but I feel like I can't go back to the old one since Apple is trying to make this the "standard."

From iTunes, select File->Add file to library and highlight the WMA file you wish to import. It will convert it to AAC.

I am not sure that I will upgrade. Not a fan of Mission Control from what I hear about it.

Not much to dislike about it.. seems like they combined spaces with whatever it was called that you could see all your open aps at one time.

I still don't get the difference between Spaces and expose.

i mean I can drag my pointer to the top left corner to see all my open apps.

and how does time machine work? is it a backup?

If I’m not mistaken I think you have to buy snow leopard in order to even get OS X lion since it is only available in the app store. Right?

Yeah basically it backs up everyday (or every time your mac is on) and if you accidently delete a file or whatever you can go back in time to where that file exists and just restore it.

I'm having a problem with Launchpad. I used to have Parallels installed on my computer but recently deleted the app with AppCleaner. When I open Launchpad, all of my old Microsoft applications are still there and I can't delete them the conventional way by clicking the "X" in the corner.

They're also not in my App folder at all so I can't delete them through there. Any ideas?

Why would there be less possibility of wiping out a file? They both do the same thing.

While dragging and dropping, you can accidentally "let go" of the mouse or "unclick" and drop files somewhere you don't want them to go.

I use both, but there are times when the cut and paste option is a lot faster/more convenient for me.

Exactly. I installed an app that makes it possible under Snow Leopard. I am kind of hesitant to install Lion, I think I'm going to wait for people's reports on compatibility of various apps first.

Except I don't use Spaces so in essence it's actually adding unnecessary clutter to my work space.

Hoping to do a clean install later tonight and try out the new stuff. I hope it doesn't have any hiccups with Logic Pro and all my plugins.

I know I'm asking for trouble, but I can't help but jump on any new OS release, whether it's OS X, Windows, or Ubuntu.
