are you also smoking that 25 dollar a gram bud??... **** will make you think about **** you dont want to think about...but **** need to think about...and wouldnt think about sober. Feel me?
I feel you, man. That's why I asked if anybody has ever been in love. I'm wondering if I'm in love with this special girl I met.
I had a hell of a lot of fun and got into a hell of a lot of trouble in my 28 year long drinking career. First I was great at it and then I was terrible at it. In fact I made a ton of posts here I regretted (some very much) while drunk. I also did many drugs, all of them at some point actually. A year ago last May suddenly some kind of miracle happened and I just didn't want it anymore. Not the taste or the feeling or the regrets or the risk-taking or the hangovers. Nothing about it seemed fun to me anymore, so I just stopped it all cold turkey one day and never missed it at all -- and mind you I was a binge drinker and drugger, not a social one. I can't believe my luck at putting down such a long, ingrained and dangerous habit (to me anyway) without any trouble at all. No AA, no urges, even when hanging out with drunk people and, through my job, that happens a lot. Sorry to barge in on the "I'm drunk thread" to make an "I'm not drunk post." Not judging. (How could I?) And I'm glad you guys are having fun. Just be careful out there.
Since you have come to the internet for an answer to this question I went ahead and flipped a coin on it for you. You are.
You're right. Alcohol especially is among the most dangerous drugs a person can use. Its so socially acceptable that it sometimes isn't apparent when a person is dealing with serious alcoholism. Besides that, the stuff completely ****s up your body.
I've used them all, as I just posted, and I'm here to tell you that's very true. Same with cigarettes. It's ironic that two of the most dangerous and most commonly lethal drugs are the ones that are legal. In fact, I'd rank prescription pills way up there and they're legal too. I don't even consider pot a drug. It's not physically addictive and no one has ever died from using it, ever. It also has various medicinal properties, more than any other "drug" in fact, though most have none. I'm not advocating for using it but I think it's in no way dangerous and is actually good for a whole heck of a lot of people. Legalize it.
Ok... First off...she isn't special. Special? are you ****ing kidding me... You treat that b**** like trash if you even want her to come around for a second time. Niceness is a weakness to women. as ****ed up as that is. It's 100 percent fact. Unless there is an exception and that is just because she hasnt realized the power she has over most dumb **** males. Calling her special? that's the type of **** she laughs at with friends but gets all butterflyie with when you're around. It's a front. Unless you've banged this chick 6-7 times and went on 14 dates. You are not in love. I'm not saying that's what it takes, I'm just saying that's what it takes. ...this is the "I'm drunk" thread btw.
Same thing happened to me with cigarettes. A few years ago, I decided just to quit. After about of two weeks of cravings, it just stopped. Alcohol is another story. The longest I went without a drink was one month. But, I'm rarely drink over 24 ounces of beer a day by myself. It's at social events that I go crazy.
I can't drink anymore, I don't know what happened but as of last month everytime I drink I throw up. I'll stick to dro
I'm long overdue for a good drunk. Problem is... I'm a 42-yr-old husband and father and, as a responsible adult, I really don't know how to get drunk now (apart from the over-consumption, of course).
I gotta add to this. I started smoking when I was 11 and one day when I was 21, I just quit without a fuss. No cravings or anything Sometimes, things just click in your head for w/e reason.
