Some people are genetically predisposed to liking fried chicken or so I heard.

I know Asians people are. There are at least 4 packed KFC within walking distance of every place I've stayed in Asia.

In the US, coriander usually refers to the seeds, and cilantro refers to the leaves.

I put cilantro, garlic, or coriander in virtually everything I cook.

I like cumin seed a lot as well.

The only food I cannot tolerate is bleu cheese. If the flavor is in a food, I cannot eat it no matter how hard I try...

Add cumin to your list and you got it down

This is interesting. Chuy's creamy jalapeno dip has cilantro in it and I have never seen anyone say that they hated the taste of it.

Now you take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby, you've got a stew going.

Technically, yes, it is, but for some reason we refer to the leafy stuff you put on tacos and other dishes as cilantro. The seeds or the crushed/powder form is usually referred to as coriander. I think it may have to do with the fact the word "cilantro" is Spanish in origin, so foods from Mexico/Latin America refer to "cilantro".

Like others have said, I didn't like it as a child. Now, I eat it in Mexican food all the time. What I don't like is rosemary.
