At least Americans can shake it off because we really only care about soccer when we have a chance to win something. Since we lost, we don't care.

I've never seen 0-3 from one side to start a PK at any level of competition.

Perfect execution of chokes by the first few kickers.

That goalie is going to be immortalized in Japan.

    Story book ending.

Great game. Both teams deserved to win. The whole tournament was a great promotion for women's football.

And the Japanese keeper looks like a Monchichi, if anyone still remembers those.

Swiss were 0-3 in Men's WC 2006 vs. Ukraine.

Except for Wambach, all of those girls shot pathetic penalty kicks.

T-5 mins till millions of Americans start going on(on twitter and various forums) about how penalties shouldn't be used to decide soccer matches, blah blah blah. (I sincerely hope I am wrong in thinking the above will happen).

LOVELY AND FANTASTIC performance by the US women in this World Cup and an equally fantastic showing by the Japanese women who played beautiful football and showed great resilience during the tourney.

A tremendous WWCup, so good it overshadowed the Copa America imho.

Lebron should call the US womens team. I am sure he can empathize with them. That first kick solo should have blocked.

Rapinoe should have never came out either. She was keeping possession, if USA never carelessly gave up possession at the end then there would have never been PKs.
