Has anyone passed that new burger place they're putting near the Jimmy John's on Holcombe?

I think it's called "Jerry" Something... I can't find any info on it.

Whatever it is, it's got to be better than Whataburger... that is the most horrible crap I've ever eaten.

I saw a new burger place off of Katy Fwy named burger girl, looked it up, seems a chain with one near Willowbrook and a few in DFW already.

On a side note, wtf is going on with that construction on Katy Fwy??? Seems they just finished construction only to do more stuff.

There's a Burger Girl near my house in DFW. Haven't tried it yet, though. Oddly enough, it replaced another burger joint that didn't survive at that same location.

Interesting and pricey menu can be found here : http://theburgergirl.com/

Don't they have a Hooter's thing going on with skimpy-dressed waitresses or something? I don't know - never been. I don't think they get great reviews and those burger prices seem a bit high.

If there were a Red Robin's nearby it'd easily swallow all their customers.

A shame it isn't a new Tex-Mex place. Houston could sure use one.

We needed another hamburger thread for the 2011!
On a very related note,I finally had Beck's prime after all the rave from the previous burger thread, best burger in houston by far.

There was supposed to be a Red Robin being built nearby, but I'm not sure that's still a go. IF it does get built, it'll test your theory. Too damn many burger joints near me.

that's going a little far, and you are probably going to get bashed on here for saying that, because it's a chain, and it isnt the hip new thing in burgers anymore, but i still love it. definitely a unique, distinct burger, and proving to be way ahead of its time.

Beck's Prime does have a damn good burger. Not the best in town, but it's deserving of its accolades.

I'm a Hubcap fan and a Bellaire Broiler Burger fan. Tell me this doesn't make you salivate?
