TNA needs to bring back the six sided ring and go with the high flyers...they won't survive with old star power but focusing on lucha libre style wrestling would give them a chance to carve out a niche in the business.
I know CM Punk leaving is actually legit but I hope he eventually resigns. He has been unleashed and is becoming the face of the brand. Edit - By the way, Punk destroying Boston like that was AWESOME.
That was the single most amazing promo I have ever seen. Vince would be stupid to let this man walk. He is quickly becoming the face of the industry, not just the company. This guy will single handedly bring back the business. Incredible.
I feel ya there... It just feels to unpolished, it's crap... Hogan and Bischoff can try and polish a turd, but at the end of the day it's still a turd...
Another video of CM Punk from his early Independent wrestling career. CM Punk in a Pinfalls Count Anywhere match...which means pinfalls can be counted outside the arena building and that includes wrestling in a STRIP CLUB, LMFAO:grin:
WWE Money In The Bank is this Sunday night. Here are the matches: *Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Alex Riley vs. R-Truth vs. The Miz vs. Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger - Raw's Money in the Bank ladder match *Kane vs. Sin Cara vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater vs. Sheamus - SmackDown's Money in the Bank ladder match *Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella - 1-on-1 match for the WWE Divas Championship *Big Show vs. Mark Henry *Randy Orton vs. Christian - 1-on-1 match for the World Heavyweight Championship. If Orton gets disqualified or the referee makes a bad call, Christian automatically wins the title. *John Cena vs. CM Punk - 1-on-1 match for the WWE Championship. If Punk leaves Chicago with the title, Cena will be fired.
I was just gonna post in this thread about Money in the Bank being tonight....any good streams that someone might like to share? I really hope CM Punk wins, and Super Cena be gone for awhile.
Punk is being real when he says he's done with the WWE. I'd doubt Vince would give him the title just to watch him leave... I really hate this Christian heel turn. The WWE really likes this Randy Orton face push, but come on. Both he and Edge are far more appealing when they're faces IMO. This whole whiny heel Christian is really annoying...
If Vince basically throws away all the wonderful mic work Punk has accomplished over the last month to save his golden boy then he deserves the crap he gets. This is the ideal...I mean IDEAL time to turn Cena heel. Even his hometown crowd last week turned on him. Punk has the chance to be the new Stone Cold/Rock of this generation if Vince screws him over and Cena aligns with Vince. I guess it all depends if Punk signs his new deal or decides to walk away.
It sounds like Punk might really leave, but then again, it sounds like a big time worked shoot. That means ITS GOOD! Pay attention Vinnie Mac, this is what people want to see not John Cena do his 5 moves of doom every week, and walk off into the "sunset" in his bright colored shirts, and his jorts. (JeanAtion) This is a good read from GQ. They interviewed Punk, and he is either working the hell out of this angle, or he gone.
What the F? they turned Christian heel? I never understood why they turned Orton face in the first place.
I actually think Orton is one of the best characters on RAW right now. He's just the perfect anti-hero bad a-- that after sometime, people can't help but cheer for (i.e. the Rock). He puts up really good work in the Ring, but if his mike skills are just a little better, he could've been one of the greats.
From what I've read the reason Punk has been so powerful on the mic is because he's speaking from the heart. Everything he's saying is how he feels. Colt Cabana has been quoted as saying that he plain and simply doesn't give a **** anymore, he's just voicing his feelings and getting ready to leave. Is it true or just an angle? I'm not so sure. All I know for certain is that there is no deal in place right now to retain him passed September. He will be on RAW tomorrow, but beyond that?...
Oh I totally agree. He's on Smackdown btw, but yeah you're spot on. The thing is, I like the whole Christian Cage persona as well. He's an underdog, he's someone you root for in spite of the odds. Randy Orton is a hall of famer. Wrestling is in Randy's blood, he's anything but an underdog. I think when they turned Christian, what it grew into was just pathetic.
