my list of BBC shows is getting longer... but tonight I watched the first episode of Survivors and enjoyed it a lot. I'm caught up to Miracle Day on Torchwood, the Next Doctor on Doctor Who, I've seen all the episodes of Being Human, the first three episodes of Misfits and the first episode of Life on Mars. I'm not sure if you can call Farscape British, because it was filmed in Australia, aired on Syfy before they changed their name as well as the BBC, but the British paid for half of it... at any rate I finished that series recently and loved it. I'd recommend all of them. I've noticed that they do sci-fi well across the pond edit: yes this is a little bit of thread necromancy, but I couldn't find a survivors thread and wanted to talk about it
Dr. Who, Top Gear, Extras, The IT Crowd, Sherlock. All amazing. I need to watch Torchwood after I'm done with Entourage.

From what I understand Sherlock is coming back......can't wait. I used to live in the UK, and remember when Ali-G was just a bit player on late night TV. DD
Sherlock is on my list of "to watch" shows. I want to finish the first two seasons of Survivors and then I'll probably watch that (and then Friday Night Lights)
I've also been on a British TV kick over the past month. I'm going to check out Peep Show and Misfits next. The short series (season) format annoys me because I want more, but at the same time I like how it doesn't burn shows out.
This is old, but I thought it was funny, and felt like sharing something light-hearted right now. It's funny no matter what, but especially if you've seen the series and know some of the different characters and what's already gone done with Gervais' character. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jv6mEv_rDdE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Question: I watched the first few episodes of The Hour and have the last 6 on DVR. Are they worth watching? Did it improve?
Chef! A hilarious BBC comedy (from the early '90's, I think) that I haven't seen on BBC in ages. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VNElBx6lE5k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I swear every episode of that show was a classic. Don't sleep on The Inbetweeners. I'm still waiting to watch the movie. Also have The Hour and Luther on the docket to watch.
Not that Top Gear needs anymore pub in this thread, but I've been catching up on series 17 this week and just came across this epic segment. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qLp4FhDAfQk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Most episodes are available on Netflix streaming, by the way.
Add Ricky Gervais' and Stephen Merchant's 'LIfe's too short' to the list as well. First 3 episodes were great. Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MKTh7zBIcrM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
