the only good things she ever did were selena and that movie 'the cell' - it was really trippy and there is a scene where she is in her undies smoking a splif. and her guest appearance on south park!
Yeah that selena portrayal was a great role for hear. It will go down as a classic. Other than that, she's pretty meh. Maybe her flygirl gig is about all else.
Some of ya'll need to watch Steven Soderbergh's Out Of Sight. That is the quintessential JLo performance and perhaps one of the best American female performances of the 90's It's too bad she went all ghetto and diva afterwards. She was on track to be a great female actress. Uma Was nominated for an Oscar for Pulp Fiction. Winona Ryder nominated for 2 Oscars for Little Women and Age of Innocence. Gwyneth won for Shakespeare in Love. JLo nominated for a Golden Globe for Selena. I do think she's underrated as an actress but her body of work doesn't compare to some of those other actresses.
