On My Player our coach has been fired about 8 times and it is only January. I look at the timeline and every team has fired their coach in the NBA. Even the teams with good records. Anybody else have this problem?

Fixed. Korver is a beast. Learn your release points. Each player's release point is different and timing is different. It's one of the unique facets of the game, you can't just mash the [ ] button or throw the R stick in any direction (on PS3) to shoot a shot and expect it to hit everytime just because the guy has a good shooting %. Timing is key...some players shoot better off picks, others while standing open, others after working for a shot. This is not an easy game by far. If you wanna be good, you gotta actually know what your doing and be relatively decent at it. If your playing with the Bulls, there's no way in hell Korver shouldn't be getting you at a minimum 10-15 pts off basic roll outs and drive and kicks. Hell even if you setup to Boozer down low and someone doubles, Korver is always open for a trey bomb...he's also good at rolling off screens for a quick shot. I start him over Bogans. Sounds scandalous. Never had that issue in My Player. Also while playing online recently, i've been getting my ass handed to me. This was initially after playing my player then switchin to the different view when playing online against others. Also realized that a KEY factor of playing against others online is setting up your defensive assignments, as well as help defense and defensive CPU assist. Tweaking these factors helps tremendously when it comes to playing D, playing the passing lane, and rebounding. Now if only I could figure out how to properly use isomotion and drive to the bucket, I'd be set. I'm living off running plays and setting up kick and drives for 3s, and pick and rolls to alley oops or jump shots.
Are you playing on HOF? When I mistakenly played on PRO it never happened. But it always happens on HOF. I googled it and it seems to be a common thing. Frustrating answering the same question about the coach getting fired after every other game lol.
No sir, can't say I've challenged myself that much. Stuck with Pro, don't have time to sit through a 82 game season on HOF lol. I pretty much stopped playing My Player after going through the first season, winning the championship and makin all star team etc. Are there other things u can unlock by continuing to play past that point? I know there's milestones for 5yr 10yr and further and point, reb, asst, steal milestones but I'll pursue those later when I get time.
It sounds as if he's playing on My Player, in which case it has nothing to do with him whether or not Korver is hitting those shots.
Just won a championship with the 76ers. My team will be getting better in the off season. My rating is 90 overall, 95 three point shooting and maxed out athleticism. Jess. Mayo is a beast in this game. At least when I'm playing against the Grizz. Too bad he's a bit short. You can probably trade Randolph for someone better. He sucks.
Z-Bo is deadly in 2k11, you just gotta know how to use him right. You will get swatted all day if you try rushed layups/dunks in the paint with him. Use him from midrange after pick&rolls, especially bankshots. Post up the defender and use various post-moves, unguardable. K-Mart for OJ is not really a changer, both good on D in 2k11(was always laughin my azz off how AB and K-Mart were rated B+ at perimeter D) and deadly shooters. OJ may be a better passer though... Flynn is sittin on the bench anyways with Dragic and Lowry ahead. Good trade imo.
That trade ain't good, Pat has big potential in this game and you lose a backup for Scola. Shane is pretty useless with Budinger, T-Will, Lee. Also you don't really need OJ over K-Mart. Trade only makes sense if you trade Scola and K-Mart for a really good PF.
My favorite B.S. trade in 2k is K-Mart plus a 1st for Eric Gordon + a 2nd. Then Luis + other pick for K-Love. T-Will Plus Chase for Gerald Wallace. 2k's trade value machine sucks
Whow, good trades. Again shows that Jontro and RoxSquad gotta step their game up. I know in 2k10 I traded like hell and got a ridiculous rookie squad with 10 of the top rookies. Traded back and forth for like 30min with lots of picks and everything. If you put in a lot of effort in Association you can make a dream team imo.
I forgot who I got for Luis since I'm on my 3rd season and that was a while ago, but Luis had some pretty good trade value in this game. I think I got Yi and some other big that can shoot for Luis and asset (possibly Hayes). I only trade for shooters. Also somehow I got a top 5 pick and got an incredible SG (Caffey) that's like on superstar mode every time he's on the court. Don't ask me about My Player mode though. That **** pisses me off. It's too difficult.
