I thought uploading pictures was only for contributors. How do I upload a picture?

Picture posting as in using the img tags to (hopefully) post from your picture hosting account (photobucket)

and that only happens when it is abused. (Keep that in mind in the picture posting thread v2, you guys toe that nudity line all too frequently)

 

Yo, you could try making a backround of D-Mo, more useful and people would use it.

 

Right click a picture on the Internet, go to properties and copy the URL. In the BBS reply window click on the "Insert Image" icon and paste the URL. Click "preview post" to make sure you haven't made an epic fail.

When you do what you just described, you are sucking on someone else's bandwidth. Copy that url like you said, then go to photobucket and use the upload from the web option, paste the url in that and then use the img tags they provide.

Some webmasters rig their sites to serve up a different pic than you expect (sometimes nasty or insulting) if you link to their images.
