I did hear plenty of rumors about Francis' drinking problems from the television back in the day. Couple that with his disease or whatever it was that was giving him "headaches" and I think you can start to see why people support certain players, and throw other players under the bus *cough* francis fans are irrational t-mac haters *cough*.
He had migraines. It was well documented. Correct on all counts. As an addition, "dope" can be used as a catch-all for all type of drug(s). If I'm slangin dope, it can be heroin (smack, horse, brown), handlebars (xanax), x (e, vitamins), coke (soda, white, white girl, blow), mar1juana (weed, green, trees, MJ, Mary, etc), vics, or a few others. That said, from what I have heard from people in my checkered past, and I have said this many times before, Steve was on more than alcohol and MJ.
