Honestly when I first read the thread title, a part of me thought this might be our very own Jordan Hill's love letter, which I guessed would just have a bunch of pictures.
At least he has amazing hand writing. I agree with you completely. I consider myself a weak writer and yet in my major I was considered to be a very strong one. Unless you are an English/Philosophy/Non Science major writing isn't really emphasized. It's sad really, because now in grad school that's all I do.
That's pretty pathetic for someone who claims English as his first language. Isn't it the only language spoken in the US, aside from Spanish and other minority language? That can't be the standard of writing for kids his age.
