Steve and Yao were friends, but Tracy and Yao were a star-crossed pair.. a pair around not only the league, but the world as recognizable and strong as Angelina and Pitt

I'm just sad we didn't get to see Tracy and Steve play together.

I appreciate you posting on my thread, though all the posts are meaningless, it just further moves it up to the top.

therefore people will actually sift through the non sense and pick up on the true friendship that Steve and Yao Ming have had.

It's the no such thing as bad publicity theory. Please keep posting and don't stop, I don't want you to, let's keep the Steve/Yao thread going on til the end of time.

If this is really a thread about the friendship of Stevie and Yao, then why bash Tmac in the thread. FYI, Yao also usually was:
    1. not there
    2. dressed up in a suit
    3. Seen recently on no bench because of the continuous injuries.

Who was the first poster to mention Tmac here?

I'm just responding to the trolls, they like to hear it.

You're wrong RedNation. I was at some Rockets games this year and Yao was on the bench in a suit.

The year McGrady was out, he was in Chicago with Tim Grover and wasn't always on the bench with his teammates, yes, that year, $25 million year.

Well, Yao wasn't ALWAYS on the bench with his teammates either. He made quite a bit this year too didn't he. And your point of Tmac being on the bench of the knicks and pistons, is he supposed to come to Houston and sit on our bench? If your point is that he's not a rocket anymore, well neither is Stevie.I apologize about speaking of McGrady in your Yao/Steve friendship thread.

I'm trying to find the video of the Phoenix game where Francis had some tough shots and a crucial strip at the end. Seeing how happy Yao was to see Francis come back and play well you know they were buddies.

Dude Yao was out the whole freaking year without any chance of coming back. When he showed up to these games, I thought he was showing unity with his teammates.

There were many games where Tracy, when he was with the team, didn't show up all the time. Remember that year with Ron Artest?
Remember when Ron was hurt and decided to play anyway cause Tracy couldn't?

It's more about Yao, that guy knew he was done and he was here this year.

As for Steve and Yao, it just seems Yao and Steve do stuff together more, like the children's christmas event etc.
