You usually use a jersey change to signify a major organization change... The end of the Yao Ming era would definitely be significant enought in my book... The Cav's have new jersey's since Lebron left, but that was a very bitter split.. should we hold on to the jerseys longer so that fans wearing yao's jersey will still be relevant or let them go??

Also, I fully expect C-Lee to wear #11 next year if 1. hes still on the team and 2. the Rox dont retire Yao's jersey..

I can see where you may think the current jersey's haven't change to appease our good fans from china. Perhaps you were thinking the font and logo how the borders are slanted? Either way, I would like to see us go with a retro style. Regular font "HOUSTON" in ketchup and mustard with maybe a little modern twist. Anything but the tacky pinstripes and cartoon blast off rocket "thing".

Just because it isn't used doesn't mean it's going to be issued.

Courtney should be classy enough to stay at #5 and leave 11 in tribute of Yao's significance towards his tenure.

It seems the Rockets have been a bunch of Communist Chinese spies since the Hakeem era. No wonder David Stern gave us the #1 pick in the 2002 draft.

I wish the best to comrade Yao.
