Mrs. Ari is leaving Ari, she is still hot but I hope they end up separating and the final scene is Ari banging Dana Gordon. Other possible storylines could be Sloan calling off the engagement? Johnny having drama with Dice Clay on Johnny Bananas?
I think the movie is already in the works... I know a lot of people didn't like Season 7, but I thought it was better than people hazed it. Season 3-5 were the best stuff, but I've enjoyed pretty much every episode. I barely just got into the show when it went into syndication last September, then watched all of the episodes in the span of 2-3 months online. Can't believe it took me 7 years to get into this show.
I thought Season 7 was great. It was a little forced, but at least bad **** happened that was a little more emotionally balanced. That failed liquor business venture, the failed marriage, drugs and the porno actress, mid- lower-level actor having to do cartoon voiceover work.
I too got into this show late and watched most of the episodes in succession. I thought season 7 was completely boring, and a far drop in quality from the first 6. I hated all of the storylines. Vince turning into a major douche because of drugs. Sasha Grey, the most annoying character in the series for me. Despised whenever she was on screen. Turtle with the completely useless tequila business and his annoying girlfriend. Ari turning into a b!tch because of his wife who overreacted to the news about her husband. Season 8 needs to return back to the first few seasons roots.
I don't know who was more annoying, her or E's alien looking semi gf when he was taking a break from Sloan. Ugh. Maybe it's a tie.
I thought everything after season 5 was a drop in quality. Hopefully the upcoming and final season gets back to the level of quality the first 5 were at in my opinion. Also, a slimmed down Turtle just doesn't feel/look right, but good for him. Hopefully we also get more Sloan.
The alien was way worse. Sasha Grey was just sort of there. Vince's "addiction" came off pretty lame, and I will never care about Turtle trying to score out of his league. I was more interested in Scott Caan's designs on bumrushing Murray. Hope we get to see some machinations and fallout from that this season.
I like how an eminem song is on the trailer- funny how they worked that into the script at the end of last season
so Ari's wife put up with Ari's abusive language, smuggling cell phones into temple on yom kippur, and various other hoodrat stuff for a bazillion years, but the moment she hears tapes of him talking mild $h1t to his employees, she leaves him? HOW THE F DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? it's completely ridiculous and baseless. It's offensive to the viewers intelligence. They same to have bought into the idiot fans' plea of more "happening" and drama in the series. Well there r****ds, you got it, and it freaking sucked. I pray to god the last season goes back to the essence of entourage, which is mindless fun between dudes who are usually high and/or drunk and banging a bunch of hot chicks.
Love the first two seasons, then it got stale up to season 5. Then season 6 came along and you see some real development for the show. Then season 7 went down a wrong path (or just didn't do it correctly). Season 8 needs to be like season 6, though i really think if they ended it at Season 6, it would've been a good stopping point.
I liked the premiere. It was genuinely funny which is a far cry from the serious dramatic stuff last season. Strong start to the season. Spoiler I wonder who Mrs. Ari is seeing? Would be hilarious if it was Adam Davies or Josh Weinstein

So I've been refreshing every few mins since it ended. EDIT: Solid first episode, sucks there is only 8 more Spoiler Good thing they didn't drag out the whole silent treatment between E and Vince. Curious to see what pissed off Sloan, and nice touch of Eminem at the end.
