If Morey really had any clue, he would interested in Fernando San Emeterio from the ACB, and not Sergio Llull. San Emeterio is an awesome player.

No, because San Emeterio's game doesn't translate well to the NBA. The strengths of Sergio transfer well to the NBA. That ability to do the same at a higher level is commonly known as NBA potential, just what Sergio has and Fernando (or Spanoulis) don't have.

Hinkie -has no clue, but- can explain you the reasons: http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/introducing_sergio_llull_shed_2010_01_21.html

It is clear that you are not actually Spanish and do not ever watch any games in Europe. You are just pretending.

It is clear that you have a personality disorder.

Cluster B narcissistic personality disorder to be exact. 90% of people have a gut reaction of "what the f--- is this guy's problem", the other 10% buy into the BS.

Spanoulis' game "translates" to the NBA 10 times more than Llull's does.

And San Emeterio is a much better player than Llull is. San Emeterio is a bigger version of prime Mario Elie.

Anchel is one of two options:

    1. A fake Spanish/European that has never in his life actually seen a game played in Europe.

    2. A Real Madrid fan boy.

He would literally be banned instantly from any European basketball forum for suggesting that Llull is a better player than San Emeterio or Spanoulis, in any competition, anywhere on planet Earth.

He would be banned from a forum for saying that one player is better than another?

People keep telling me that fascism is making a comeback in Europe, but I had no idea it was to this level already.

Huh?!? How did that video or that style showed San Emeterio as anything REMOTELY similar to Mario Elie's style of play?

I am not arguing that you have a personality disorder based upon the merits of your basketball agenda. I am saying that you, as demonstrated through your posts, are so disagreeable, arrogant, and generally cruel that there must be something seriously wrong with you. You use Clutchfans as a form to spread your views on "basketball" but you never really want to discuss anything just differentiate yourself on everything. It's like you were never socialized on how to talk to other people. You belittle everyone else's views until you receive negative feedback which appears to be exactly what you want. If you are really convinced that everyone else is missing the big picture about particular players in the Euroleague.. you could not be doing a worse job to change people's minds.

    The point being...

Quit trying to be hated. You've already succeeded.

Maybe... and this is a BIG maybe.. you could try and be nice? Agree with a couple views every week or so? Throw in a :) every now and then?

You do realize all your showing is HIGHLIGHT videos right? How are we suppose to judge anything on that when all it shows is a player's good plays. Plus if Spanoulis was so good and his game translated so well, why did he flop in the NBA (even with his limited minutes and not showing anything to be retained by the Spurs)?

Seems like you just like to disagree just to show how much you know or think you know about basketball, the NBA, and the oh so better Euroleague in which all there best players want to play in the NBA.

For serious? Did you watch any of the Rocket's games this season? An NBA PG has more duties then to just score. Lowry's passing, rebounding, defense, energy, etc. were better then anything V-Span could or did offer the Rockets.

Les should fire everyone in the front office and hire OHHHHHHHMMMMMMSSSSSSSS to be the GM and head scout.

Better yet, we should quarantine OHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMSSSSSSSSSSSS to his own little corner of the BBS. That KBP consolidated thread on SpursTalk is classic. That's not quite SCK level, but I get a real laugh out of it.

That game of V-Span's really did translate to some stellar NBA numbers....

This is good news for the Rockets. Apparently, the new coach of Real Madrid, Pablo Laso, wants Sergio Llull to play PG on his team. Pablo Prigioni won't continue, they signed Jaycee Carroll (a scoring SG) and they plan to sign another wing scorer.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you a better talent evaluator than the rest of the public and the NBA? where did you learn your methods? Because I'm curious as to how 99% of the public disagrees with most of what you say, and can even prove you're wrong in some cases, yet you continue to deny all logic and tell everyone they are wrong. Once again, I'm only curious. What is your process and why is this random ass Europe dude better than Llull.

Thanks for the update, anchel. Great news. I'm sure the Rockets would be willing to bring Llull over in 1-2 years as a "combo guard" regardless, but the experience as a (nearly) full-time PG will only accelerate his transition to the NBA game.

It's nice being able to read a Euroleague update from a European poster who actually cares to CONTRIBUTE to this BBS rather than to tear down the NBA as a league. "He Who Shall Not Be Named" could learn a thing or two from you.

    ;)

I have always been stoked about Llull and it is great to see he will be getting full time PG minutes and duties. For the first time in a LONG time, I am feeling pretty confident about our 1 spot going into the future.
