I can't release the name or the location. But it will be in the Southwest area. We've been making a name for ourselves in our current club and the previous one, so we will have a following. You guys are welcome to join.
You can't release the name or location because it isn't officially open yet, or you can't release it ever? Because how are we supposed to find it if you don't tell us where it is?
I've contacted several psychics to help locate the place. Their best lead so far took me to a PetSmart. With any luck, I'll be there for the grand opening.
As soon as we open I'll tell you the location and the name. The city doesn't know we're opening a strip club, they think it's just the re opening of the same club. If they find out they might try to sabotage it or make up some kind excuse so we won't open it.
I think you should keep it secret, and we could do a clutchfans bbs investigation as to which one club we think it is...good entertainment through a long offseason... this is research I could get behind.. perhaps a contest and the winner gets a free BJ ,and clutch gets page hits from the epicness of it all...
If the city finds out we're opening a strip club then they're gonna make us post a in the neighboorhood stating that we are applying for a "new" liquor license. Once that is posted the community can vote against it and just like that the strip club is gone. I've seen it happen many times before.
^ Aren't you supposed to have a license BEFORE opening? What if the raid happens while there are ClutchFans in there? I don't want to be known as a CoochFan. Can't be. He posts smilies. But thanks for thinking of me, though.
Wait, so you're talking about how you know you won't get raided because you're smart, and you aren't going to do anything dumb to get caught.....and now you're trying to open a strip club without the city knowing about it, so you don't have to apply for a new liquor license??
El Hittman, can you start a spin off in Austin eventually, free cover and free first drink, me and all my boys at work would be there atleast twice a week!
No there is a loophole in the system, a gray area if you will. We are NOT opening a strip club, it's a bikini bar. That's the gray area, that the City laws haven't been able to get rid of. They are REALLY trying. As of right now I know about 5 or 8 strip clubs that will open in the next 2 months. Everybody is trying to take advantage of this flaw in the system, before they change it. Anybody with a liquor license can turn their establishment into a "bikini bar", that's why everybody is doing it.
