The fact that t_mac1 got mad about the post makes it even more hilarious.

I agree completely. The main issue in the case was they found bones and could not determine cause of death. The prosecution could only theorize what happened based on the physical evidence being primarily duct tape. Therefore, any conclusions a jury could draw could not exclude reasonable doubt as you don't even know how Caylee died with any certainty because of lack of proof. They did not find the body in time and forensics did not end up in a CSI-like ending in this case. The jury would have had to look past that and assume guilt based on the little physical evidence available and Casey's behavior. The prosecution seemed to think opinionated statements like "Casey Anthony is the only one who had something to gain by removing Caylee from the equation." were somehow going to sway a jury. When they go there with statements like that, you know they are grasping at straws.

I think any reasonable jury would have to acquit in this case...regardless of what Nancy Grace says. Casey basically made many mistakes to lead one to conclude she did it but not enough to prove it in a court of law. She lucked out that the body wasn't found in time and she got some breaks. Everyone knows there is no way a mother would behave the way she did for the thirty days after Caylee went missing and lie lie lie about everything afterwards but that alone doesn't prove a case in a court of law.

The court of public opinion will make her life far worse than any prison would, I'm sure.

Doubtful. Men are pretty shallow and wouldn't be surprised to see some guy well off end up hooking up with her.

She is one messed person from a messed up family and a terrible mother, but that isn't enough to prove she did it.

Lets just hope she doesn't have another one.

Bingo. I told a friend yesterday that after watching this trial the prosecutions case basically came down to: "A little girl is dead. Aren't you mad about that? Here's her mother. She's a partying slut. Doesn't that make you angry? Don't you want her to die for this? Her little girl is dead and she's partying. UGH! Who could do that? Mad yet? Good. Now here's some evidence that doesn't prove anything. Convict her."

How do you explain Caylee's hair in the back of Casey's truck with decomposition matter on it? That at least shows that she knew Caylee was dead and moved her around in her trunk.

I think you give her too much credit for having a soul and actually caring about anything other than herself.

Man, people will have forgotten about this in a year or so.
On to the next TRIAL of the century

Just like them women that marry death row inmates
alot of dudes will want to get with her . .. just to say they did

In two years, she will have moved and living the life
Do you seriously think people will hound her like they did O.J.?
Do you think her 'guilt' will proclaimed at every possible turn and even inappropriate moments? I seriously doubt it .. .
I might happen the rest of this year. . but by next year
    she will be a minor footnote in history . . . .
Like the chick that pushed her kids into the river and blamed a black man
    or the chick that drowned her 5 kids . . . . .

Americans generally have about a 6 month memory

true they did not 'get away' with it . . .but it really won't matter in a year
    2 at the most.

You mean the hair that was proven to have decomposition matter by using a "developing" scientific technique that is not accepted, has never been used in court and was completely disputed by some of the world's brightest forensic minds?

I am not surprised that the jury members do not want to speak to media because they know they will be slammed.

I am sad that nobody is being held accountable for Caylee's murder.
