I like Lowry too but he has been a NBA starter for just 2 months a few months. He's been a full time starter who play starter minutes just since the trade deadline. Kmart and Scola has been starters a lot longer.
Its either between Kmart or Mike Lowry... I mean Kyle. But Kmart ability to score at such a high rate makes him a better player
Kevin Martin: Rockets best scoring machine Luis Scola: Rockets toughness and grit along with a reliable low post scoring Kyle Lowry: Floor general and good all around PG with a big heart and will NOT be denied
Kyle Lowry. -Most important reason why is he plays solid on both ends of the floor. -He makes the team go. -He's still young (25) and improves every year. -My favorite reason why I think he's the best player is because we got him only for Rafer Alston. -And he's on a very reasonable contract (I think he deserves a couple million more IMHO) I remember when we traded Alston and the board went crazy in an outrage and the majority of the board was questioning why we traded our starter for an unproven backup. Morey hit the bullseye with Lowry. Arguably his best move to date. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/chronicle/6272098.html Lowry was so coveted by the Rockets that general manager Daryl Morey said Lowry immediately upgrades the point guard position, even with the Rockets’ starter of the past four seasons moving out. “We feel like we got better today, upgrading that position was a goal going into the deadline,” Morey said. “We feel like we accomplished it. Kyle is going to be a guy the town really loves. He’s a really tough competitor, up-tempo player, a winner. Jay Wright at Villanova thinks he’s the smartest point guard he ever had. He is someone we’ve had our eyes on really since the draft.” “We feel like he is a young player (22 years old) who can help us now and who we can build around in the future.” Read more: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/chronicle/6272098.html#ixzz1RX6510qp
