I was thinking the same thing...the OP sounds paranoid and a bit snobby. "It's summer time, the little kids are running free." Cmon man, what do you expect? If you live in a subdivision you have to share stuff with other people (gasp), yes, there is a line they shouldn't cross, but you can't expect to be completely isolated from everyone...if you wanted that you should've moved out to the country where your nearest neighbor is a mile away. People have different lifestyles that you do...move or get over it unfortunately.
I live in a overall good neighborhood where the houses are close to each other and most houses are two stories. Everybody can see your driveway from their windows. If you live in a two story house here and you happen to be in a room with windows, you can easily hear if there's someone closing their car doors or messing around near by. It would be almost instinctual to be curious if you hear stuff near by you. No I don't think my all my neighbors are always watching me but I seen the ones I'm talking of, spying out their window when I was leaving home the day after it was stolen. More than likely not just some coincidence it was stolen a few hours after forgetting to lock my doors unless you think there could be someone car checking every night... And how would you assume that. If it was people I had over then I would've seen right away if the fence was broken the moment I stepped out. Plus the fence broke inward so it wouldn't make since to think that. I sound snobby for saying kids are out? Everyone must be snobby to you then. There's tons of kids around me. Don't mind them or have a problem with them. It's just the ones to this side of me. Everyone has their own property and it's respectful to not trash or trespass on others property unless said otherwise. Would you want kids screwing up your home? I don't care if something like a kid running on my lawn to pick up a ball. Nothing wrong with that. But don't screw with peoples ****. Maybe you wouldn't care if you place gets trashy but I don't want no one doing that to my home. I have the common courtesy to not have music blasting late at night when I know people around me are trying to sleep... You guys are really quick to judge someone on here.
i think the only answer is to kill them. If you press charges, they will get pissed and do more **** to you. so kill them or hire J. Walter Weatherman to teach them a lesson.
How do you know you forgot to lock it? That being said, regardless of whether or notit was locked, you didn't deserve to have your stereo stolen.
