I have to admit I'm looking forward to this one but god that's a horrible music for the trailer. Hope the soundtrack is good and not some stupid heavy metal crap. Really like the visual sense and a bit of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4uzXgg6MK4Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Littler bit of new footage (first 16 secs) from a new Tv Spot that will be familiar to those who read the comic. Up until now the Tv spots have basically just been rehashing what was in the movie trailers. <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/bhMsbugRegg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I really don't know anything about Captain America... but how does this 1960s super hero become the leader of the present day Avengers? Does he not age?
Don't know if the movie follows the comics/cartoons but he is frozen during battle with Red Skull and brought back by SHIELD in modren times.
Oh, that is a given. This is the last Marvel movie until Avengers so this will most definitely lead into it.
Hulk will smash Captain America all day. Not a worthy teammate. Captain America's shield was Made in China.
wow, did chris evans really lose all that weight? of course not to the extent of christian bale...but damn!
They used the same technology that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button used to put Brad Pitt's head on a kids body.
Saw an advanced screening today. GREAT movie. Really well done 3D scenes as well. Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) is stunning. Kind of like a Kate Beckinsale with bigger...well, you know. Spoiler Don't waste your time waiting until the end of the credits a la "Iron Man". The Avengers tease with Samuel L. Jackson comes before the credits. The only thing that happens at the end of the credits is some scrolling text about Cap being back in "The Avengers".
70% so far on RT considering that its critic reviews thats a pretty good imo figure that figure could be bumped up with the general movie going audience and all.
Actually, they tried that first but then decided on more complicated and expensive special effects. http://movies.yahoo.com/news/brawny-captain-america-saved-skinny-steve-194607211.html
Highly disappointed, not enough action and way too dragged out. Definitely not worth the mid-night premiere.
Not enough action? It was exactly what I expected. I went in with mediocre expectationsand left happy.
Solid, but not great. It seemed a little over-the-top to me. It most compares to X-men: First Class as far as this summer's superhero movies go, but I would rate First Class maybe one or two notches better. B
