Don't listen to as much as I used to but these were a few of my favs from back in the dizzay: Steve Lawler Danny Howells John Digweed
Derrick May Sasha Darren Emerson Richie Hawtin old John Kelley sets Henrik Schwarz Shane Berry Satoshi Otsuki me
I listen to local houston artist DJ Riddler. His podcasts/SiriusXM show every saturday night are pretty killer. Other than that Tiesto still has game, Deadmau5, Avicii, Skrillex, Bob Sinclar David Guetta, BT, and Afrojack (he's been getting a lot of airplay stateside lately) Nothing beats old school Chicagoan Paul Johnson though <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DDwxhHwJ66M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
To really answer the question here - I used to be really big into electronica artists but never really got into DJs as I always felt they were more into the trance and drum 'n' bass scenes which were areas of electronica that I never got into that much. Nonetheless, I always enjoyed Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk; outside of them, the only other real trance albums I had were by Robert Miles and BT. On the drum 'n' bass scene, I dug Goldie, Aphrodite, Adam F, Roni Size, and LTJ Bukem. Overall DJs that were not into either scene (for the most part) but damn good, nonetheless, include Aphex Twin and DJ Shadow. Also don't discount Fatboy Slim here.
can't beat this. <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/D0vAnwN0wjA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
All that sh** to me is still TECHNO Spoiler Nice trying trying to validate your "genres", techno guys. Now you can go back to being ghey! lol (jk, Van Dyk & BT are alright. )
I really want to weigh in on some of the terrible DJ's listed in this thread, but I don't feel like being a pretentious prick today. This will have to suffice: <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6Ov0YMMc3nY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Robbie Rivera Bob Sinclar Deadmau5 Swedish House Mafia Above & Beyond .....Afrojack is pretty good too
Can't get this song out of my head today: <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/syOK6zmpOe0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
