WNBA MVP Race Heating up WNBA.com The Chicago Sky's Sylvia Fowles takes control of the No. 1 spot in this week's installment of Race to the MVP rankings. Diana Taurasi also enters the Top 3 after her Phoenix Mercury pieced together a four game win streak thanks to her red-hot shooting and 19.6 points per game. Taurasi's teammate Candice Dupree also cracks the Top 10 this week, as she's currently averaging a double-double on a team that loves to score in transition. Rebounding is a big factor in running the fast break and so far Dupree is doing her part to make sure it works to the Mercury's advantage. I'm so shocked, I mean...dayuum. And guys, don't forget to vote for your WNBA all-stars that you wanna see in furious dunking action July 23.

I wonder if the WNBA will get more popular now due to people suffering from preemptive NBA withdrawal. BTW, you know what the WNBA needs? Jan Vesely's girlfriend.
Guys, I honestly tried to watch a WNBA game last week and couldn't make it past one minute. Awful. Wish I could have the minute back.
It was fun in the 90s with Coop kicking ass and the Comets winning championships. It was a nice fall-back option during the NBA offseason. Too bad that era has passed.
