Agree with this...except I sorta like a hint of coffee taste.

I've had a few french vanilla foo-foo coffee-ish drinks in the past, and my wife convinced me to try the Member's Mark Gourmet Cappuccino (French Vanilla) from Sams Club. It took a few tries to get used to the coffee taste...but now, I drink a small cup of it every day at work. It's my in-work Calgon moment inducer. lol. I'm a coffee noob/wuss and proud of it.

"Vietnamese iced coffee with milk", also known as ca phe sua da or cà phê sữa đá It is also called ca phe nau da (Vietnamese: cà phê nâu đá, "iced brown coffee") in northern Vietnam.

when i'm in seattle, i always make a point to hit monorail espresso, a little hole in the wall on Pike Street, near 5th:

maybe, the best espresso i've ever had, assuming you like it extra ristretto.

so what's your set up? do you make a cup at a time? Are you using the hot water from the kitchen area?

raj87....those are good. I typically use that whenever we are outdoors. Easy to put on a fire or grill.

I've been digging the french press (8 cup) for a while now. ALthough, i'm thinking that i need to get a thurmus to hold the coffee after the time it has to sit to keep from oversoaking.

    haha. Well done.

Next time you are in there, ask them about some of their flavors. They'll be able to give you a lot of background on each one. As was said, I'm sure they don't visit each and every one but they do make it a point to visit many of their growers. Try that at Starbucks.

I'll have to check them out. The reviews sound amazing, and they just won the Krups award for best coffee in Seattle (which has a long list of competitors).

I have an espresso machine at home, so we usually don't have coffee or americanos out unless we're at a restaurant. There are a ton of Starbucks, Seattle's Best, and Tully's here in Seattle, but there are just as many hole in the wall places that have some amazing joe. That's one of my favorite things about living here. There are all the usual mega-chain stores, but quality independent shops proliferate across all industries.

How about favorite coffee shops in the Houston area?

Manage a few coffee shops in downtown and recently switched from a national brand to a local roster and the difference is unbelievable!

I've been doing this for ten years and just starting to experience what good coffee is.

I live in the Heart of Tim Horton's country, and I find their coffee a bit overrated.
