Kind of reminds me of the "eye roll" guy at Jeff Skilling's testimony during the Enron hearings.

Except that wasn't a murder trial and this guy was apparently an Arthur Anderson employee from Houston, so he had a right to roll his eyes.

I'm guessing the OP is 60+ years old? 28-year-old kid?

The guy could have caused a mis-trial in a case which has likely cost 7 figures. If making an example out of this clown deters others, then 6 days in jail for a 28 yr old TGIF employee is a small price to pay.

If you saw the video, the guy looks like he is about 15 yrs old. And his behavior in the courtroom was that of a child. Some people never grow up.

to be respectful of a courtroom and behave as such, Edd-o!
Of course! You're not a judge.
They're not "power hungry." They already have lots of it, and use it to the best extent of the law and WELL. We owe them some respect. The judge did nothing wrong but the gentleman did. At least the judge is keeping the courtroom clean and respectable.

i was wondering how long it would take for someone to come to the defense of the "kid" and ridicule the judge. It's amazingly stupid how far hate for "the man" can go.

The guy broke the rules repeatedly and got caught so he has to pay the price.

He could have sold it a lot better than that, tbh.

6 days in jail is stupid. A higher fine only would have been more reasonable.
